Here at Dental Associates of Cape Cod, we want every visit you make to our Hyannis office to be efficient and worry-free. Please arrive at your first appointment 15 minutes early with your insurance card readily available so that you can take your time filling out the patient registration forms. New patient forms are also available online if you would prefer filling them out ahead of time.
At your first visit (for adults), we typically conduct a thorough exam, which may include the following:
- New patient exam
- Complete dental charting
- A review of your health history
- Radiographs when necessary
- Digital imaging
- Hygiene evaluation
We will go over the results of your exam and work closely with you to develop a dental plan that is tailored to your specific oral health needs.
For children, the first visit will consist of time for our dentist and your child to become acquainted, do a thorough exam, and clean your child’s teeth—as long as your youngster is comfortable.
